Established in 2012 from 7 academic institutions in the Midwest with expertise in sarcoma
The 7 academic medical centers (Mayo Clinic, Medical College of Wisconsin, City of Hope, University of Iowa, University of Minnesota, University of Wisconsin, and Washington University in St. Louis) have established sarcoma programs with medical oncologists with interest and expertise in sarcoma. Due to leadership changes, City of Hope has replaced Northwestern University.
All these institutions perform clinical trials in sarcoma
Geographically, these centers are mainly in the Midwest (includes Arizona and Florida for Mayo Clinic) and California for City of Hope and patients in this region have the ability to travel to several of these sites for consultations and participation in clinical trials
Our mission is to improve the care of patients with sarcomas
Our vision is to be the premier midwest collaboration of institutions for sarcomas
